1. Is it watertight?
Yes, we guarantee our stair installation to be watertight.

2. Will my yard be damaged?
We use a landscape grade excavator and take all reasonable precautions to protect your yard. But, it is a construction project and you probably will need some landscaping work after we complete the job. For specific questions, please ask your sales representative.

3. Do I need to paint the door at the top?
The Steelway door comes with a shop applied primer and will need a coat of exterior grade paint within a few months of installation.

4. Do I need a permit?
YES. We take care of all the work required to get the permit, however the actual cost of the permit is the homeowner's responsibility. It is critical to have a permit assuring that you comply with all codes in your township.
This is your gaurantee the work is being done properly.

5. Is a door at the bottom included?
We can install a six panel insulated steel door for an extra fee if you choose.

6. What about the dust and dirt in my house?
We use special equipment that virtually eliminates the dust in your house so there is no clean up.
